Under the 2-G rule, you need to be fully vaccinated (two doses). A full vaccination is valid for the 2-G rule for a total of 9 months from the day you received your 2nd dose.

For persons vaccinating for the first time on or after Nov. 8, 2021, 2G applies for four weeks in combination with a negative PCR test no older than 48 hours.

If the vaccine you received requires no booster shot (e.g. Johnson & Johnson), the first vaccination is valid for the 2G rule from the 22nd day after the vaccination for a total of 270 days.

If you have recovered from Covid-19 and received your first vaccination, you are in the 2G group for 12 months from the day of vaccination.

The following vaccines (including mix-and-match vaccines) are recognised:

  • BioNtech/Pfizer
  • AstraZeneca (Vaxzevria and Covishield)
  • Johnson & Johnson
  • Moderna

Recovered people:

If you have recovered from Covid-19, you do not have to test for the virus for six months from the end of the infection. You need your quarantine order or a medical certificate from your doctor to prove you have recovered from the infection. A positive test for antibodies neutralising the virus is valid for three months from the date of testing.
