Embracing the Dionysian spirit not only fosters innovation but also cultivates resilience in today’s volatile business landscape.

Well done, Janka, for challenging conventional management paradigms and inspiring a more adaptive approach.

Accounting system:
I like these ideas for long time.
I used as part of my consulting services.
More than once…my clients look at me and said: well, that’s sounds nice. Elegant. But in the end I am running for profit organization. How can you do it?
My answer was always, we need an accounting system that supports it.
Luckily, the framework I developed in my book “From Enigma to Paradigm ” give sufficient direct.

Gen AI:
When we all read the literature around it, we are in the old structural system of the organization.
The subtext is we need “strategy “,we need C level officer to show “how to do it right…”
No. No.No.
We need just to equip the entire staff with these ultra-fast tools and leave them to do it in their way.
This way thousands of new initiatives will emerge.
As we didn’t give C level to manage how to use Office tools while bridging the gap from the typist era to these days, we do want to give complete freedom to the staff.

I am sure there are many other dimensions, but this my first shot.
Amnon

Chaos is creative. Without Chaos no (or very little) creativity. Yet, vast majority of our efforts, strategies and actions are about taming this vital life force. Only because we can not cope with it, we don’t want to allow it to exist. In our structured organisation there is no designed space for chaos.
Therefore there is no space for self organising life force either.
Luckily chaos is more powerful than us, humans. And since it doesn’t obey any rules, it continuously refuses to fit into our rigid and controlling agenda.
We will never win with Chaos. We either let it in and play with it or it will invite itself and play us. And just like this wise article states, it’s not about choosing between chaos or structure. It’s about dancing in the liminal space in between them. That´s where the magic happens. The juxtaposition is vital for not only creativity to be born, but for a sustainable transformation to take place. Big thank you for the authors for this graceful analogy and story.

The Dionysian lens captures that beautifully. Balancing structure with creative chaos isn’t easy – but it’s where the real breakthroughs happen. Thank you for this inspiring perspective!
