John Elvidge

Sir John Elvidge was Permanent Secretary to the Scottish Government from 2003 - 10.He is an Associate of the Institute for Government, a Carnegie Fellow for the Carnegie UK Trust, a contributing lecturer to Oxford University‘s Programmes for Leadership and Public Policy and an Adjunct Professor of the External Relations Centre of Shanghai Jaio Tong University.
He is also Chairman of Edinburgh Airport Limited and holds a number of other non-executive roles in the social enterprise, academic and charitable sectors.
