Director Corporate Sustainability,
Tata Consultancy Services
Biography
Yogesh Chauhan was appointed Director Corporate Sustainability for
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) in May 2012. His brief is to develop and
oversee the company’s sustainability operations across UK and Europe.
He is presently delivering a range community engagement, environmental
and thought leaderships initiatives designed to embed sustainability
across the company and help position TCS has a premier company in the
geography. Yogesh also convenes corporate responsibility activities for
Tata Ltd which represents the group’s operations in the UK.
Prior to this Yogesh was the BBC’s Chief Adviser on Corporate
Responsibility and Environment. He worked for the corporation from 2001
starting his career in public affairs and gradually taking on a
leadership role in the BBC’s ethical, sustainability and corporate
citizenship activities.
Yogesh is also chairman of the Corporate Responsibility Group (CRG),
the UK’s practitioner network and emerging professional body for those
working in the field of corporate responsibility and sustainability.
Aligned to this he is a board trustee director at Business in the
Community, the UK’s leading charity promoting responsible business
practice.
